First short ride of the season

Got the Wide Glide out today for the first time this season. 68 degrees and sunny. Had enough of a rain storm last weekend that some of the road salt is washed away. Still sand and gravel at the intersections and all sorts of new pot holes to watch out for. Did about 30 miles around St. Paul. Just getting the sea legs back. Great to be out on two wheels again! Weather turns back to crap tomorrow through weekend with snow possible on Friday for cripes sake! so just had to get out today! Tired or reading everyone else's ride reports.

No cool photos. Just a great ride! Let the season begin! (no comments from the peanut galleries in CA and FL about the never-ending riding seasons there. I got that all winter long!)

   1st spring ride 15 day out of last 20 3 states  i think i,m ready for the new riding season. yours truly NOR-CAL-PEANUT

I would have figured with global warming you would have been on the road in March.   :coolblue:

Been thinking the same thing for the past several years. They actually said that global warming partially caused the tremendous amount of snow we got this winter (5th snowiest on record). Not sure how that works. Also it was an El Nino year, plus the farmers almanac said it would be tough, plus, after the Metrodome collapsed, they quit heating that so not nearly as much heat escaped into the atmosphere resulting in a decrease in average temperature. Plus the Vikings sucked.

Looking forward to Mosquito season!
