Stu's trigger backfires.
« on: April 12, 2011, 10:51:01 PM »

 >:(.   Well I better explain.   The SERG ultra just didn't work out.  There were some issues that I just didn't want to deal with. This was a consigned bike so it was easy to get out of. At this stage of my life I didn't have it in me to have headaches or problems that I really didn't need.  So with that said, I am back on my ole reliable 04 SEEG.  Like an old shoe it fits me best and if ever I want contentment I'll just look in my own garage.   Thanks to all for the congrats and good wishes. It was nice though it lasted only two days.   Stuart.

Stu, it may seem a disappointment at the moment.  And the SERGs are certainly nice looking bikes.  But there's never a wrong thing about having an 04 or 05 SEEG as the bike you smile at when you walk out in the garage :2vrolijk_21: .

Don,  I have 2 of em out there.   Best   I'm convinced more than ever now. I'm just glad I got out of this deal as I did.   I got caught up in all the cvo glitz.   I'm better now and have come back to earth.  :)

Glad you were able to bail on the deal, nothing worse than beig stuck with something you don't like.  Even worse is selling it at a huge loss.  Good job.   :2vrolijk_21:

Sorry it didn't work out, but some things are for the better. I came pretty close to kicking my '04 B/B to the curb a couple of months ago. Instead, I decided to spend even more money on it getting a few odds and ends that I'd been wanting for awhile. After a little more than four weeks without it, I go get it tomorrow and think I'm at least as excited and looking forward to seeing it and getting to ride it again as I would have been if I was picking up a brand new ride, maybe more. Long live the SEEG!  :)

There is always another bike around the corner.  Sounds like it worked out for the best.

Thanks guys.  I needed to hear that.   I'm happy it worked out like it did.   I know it's for the best and yas "long live the SEEG". :cherry:  These bikes still seem so uncomplicated next to the new ones too.   :)

More like dozens... Have you seen the Harley for sale adds lately... People are practically giving them away. Last summer I picked up a 2009 Fat Bob with 1,800 miles for 6K cash.... I see deals like this every day... Not good if you are trying to sell one though.

Happy things worked out for the best Stuart-definitely don't want to spend that much money and not be happy with your decision.  Plus you already have 2 great SEEG's..

Hey Spy,  what would you like to see a pic of? I might be able to oblige.   I never realized how much I liked my B/B and I still can't understand what came over me.  Oh well, I was lucky enough to put my foot down and let them know I was not a happy customer.    And only a few four letter words too.  Hmm.  See. I have control power.  So on to the next adventure.   I'm sure there will many more.  Thanks again.   :huepfenjump3:
