Wrong again twolaner.....the tuner expressed is disapointment with the 555 as a drop in cam. If you knew how to read a dyno graph you could CLEARLY see that the torque is not what was advertisied in the lower rpm's but then again your inability to correctly read a graph will excuse your ignorance to this cam even though you have a VAST amount of knowledge in the tuning and building world. The 555 comes alive at 3000rpm and pulls hard at that point however the tq between 1500 and 3000 rpm leaves a lot to be desired and this is where people ride all day long.
Doc
I was wishing this guy good luck with his choices and commenting that others had had positive experience in combination with the EMS package this gentleman had selected. Didn't name any other names Doc. Willie S (as opposed to Willie G) said something once like methinks thou dost protest too much.
For some reason you seem to have a soft spot for me. I appreciate the attention. But your flattery isn't necessary.
For whatever reason you seem to enjoy biting back when I'm involved. I hope you enjoy the effort. It would seem, however, that since you're now admitting you were the tuner you'd have better things to do. It has nothing to do with my (never claimed) professional tuning skills nor the sycophantic audience you ascribe to me and seem to worry so much over. But when you spend 4+ hours tuning a member's bike, take his money then tell him you're not done yet but that you'll finish it online and over the phone after he's home there is some work to be done somewhere. And it's not with me.
That being so. For some reason Doc enjoys me. He doesn't make a lot of sense when he does. And while I enjoy flattery and attention as much as the next guy I'm bored to tears and generally annoyed by irrationality. So Doc can vent and fume and rant and rave as I'm sure he will (or not if he really cares about his perception; but that's not likely). But I'll be off in the occasional thread that is actually enjoyable.
And, just for the record, ninety bucks is still too much for an air filter; whether you're shilling the product or not
