Heated Seat advice
« on: April 16, 2011, 10:18:04 AM »

Getting ready to pop for a new seat. Gotta stay heated or get divorce. Hve always used Mustang and have never been unhappy. Need some advice because I can get a really good deal on a Harley Sun Ray seat, but have never used one. Does anyone know how they compare to a Mustang?

If you're happy with Mustang seats, I'd probably cough up the money and get one of those in the new heated version rather than spend money on the Sun Ray...I can't speak from personal experience with the HD Sun Ray, but I THINK it's very much like the '06 SEUC heated seat and that one KILLED my a$$ after it had about 3k on it.  I mean it hurt so bad that I could only ride about 75 miles without taking a break, but that's my butt and not yours.  I switched that seat out for a Corbin Dual Tour (heated) and was very happy, even on 500+ mile days.  But, if your butt likes the Mustang, then go with what you know...that's my opinion and nothing more.
