Now that's a nice bike, and with the right colors too  ;)
I'm looking to replace my pipes as well, initially looking for 2 in 2, but those 2 in 1 actually look good.
How loud are they on a scale from Stock to 10?
I'm just looking for a modest rumble improvement from stock.

hey, gtr, yes, indeed that is a beautiful bike.  It was actually my first choice but then I got all caught up in the scarlet and it was all over!  But if you were to offer me my choice right now between the 3 of them, I would pick the Roman gold!  If they could have just designed a way to do the bronze strips in that grinded process, I would be all over it.  Mine is great when the bright sun is shining on the grind.  But that bronze really sets the bike off.  Keep us posted what you do to the bike, down under there in Oz.   Porky

Greetings Pegus and Porky Pig,

Pegus, the pipes are loud but not as loud as 2 into 2 , I had a set of V&H on a Rocker C and they are around a 7 out of 10 for loudness, then I had a 2010 Fatboy with V&H Side shots which are louder say 8 out of 10 ( it had SE211 cams as well made 92HP and 93F Tlb). So the 2 inot 1 for me are great a real deep noise compared to the others , I have also fitted Smart Partz quite Baffles which cut the Db by around 6 at idle and 12 at 3000rpm ( their qoute) so overall id say a 5-6 out of 10 for noise , still alot louder than stock but a great deep meanining full tone and when you get right on it sounds great. Im loving the SE260's also the bottom end is very strong and really gets this bike moving, im on the dyno in the coming weeks and will tune it and post the end result.

Thanks Porky the colour is great and certainly gets looks all the time, the scarlet I like also , but the Bronze just won me over.

Well gents im off for a ride tommorow the weather will be good here so going to put some Miles on here !!!

cheers :pineapple:

Mr GTR

Thanks for all the information, very usefull and 2 in 1 sounds like à viable option for me.
I live in (by Swiss standards) an urban area and can't get to wild on sound.

All other pipe suggestions for a slight rumble improvement from stock welcome.

Did you bump the compression to work with the 260's or is it stock?
