the other half  :o

Thats a lot worse , could you confirm it's a 07 or 08 bike please .

The problem is need to be fixed here because shipping it twice is almost sure damage to the engine .

According to the dealers the problem with crankshafts was the 07 - 08 and beginning of 09 versions but after changing to 23729-07A should be OK .

My best option to keep rolling this summer is OEM parts and a real good Harley mechanic , the upgrade i already put on ice .

Thanks for the advice from al you guys  ;)

That was a stock crank from 09.  Dont waste your time with another stock crank.  Dark horse and dont look back.  You will regret another stock crank.

Handy,

Do you know which vin numbers in early 2009 that had the older crank? I believe I have an early 2009 but would like to know the definition of "early" you're talking about. Date span of manufacturing would be great.

Thanks
