Man, sorry for your bad luck, do you have anyone close by that does airbrushing?  Some of the people that do it are excellent at touching up small issues to the point most of us would not know it happened.  You will always know but to someone that did not see the damage as long as you didn't lose any plastic in the fall it will not show.  Also allot depends on the color.

Just my opinion, but this isn't one of those things you cover up.

Take the bike to a well recommended painter in your area.

I'm sure a good painter can do a touch up if it's just the fairing edges without tearing the fairing apart.

He should be able to mask off the unaffected areas just as they do when repairing one section of a car or truck

I'm going to guess about 1/2 day labor total so I'd guess the whole thing would cost you a bit shy of $500 including materials

A new CVO Bagger is $40k, yours has gotta be worth spending $500 on.

Might check the dealer price for a new one, minus the 20% from Jenni.  Friend of mine dropped his when it was being off loaded from his pick up.  He had it repainted to find that the mounts were  cracked, painter never checked and it was close to 500.  Then priced a new one from HD and it was about 425.  I would take the fairing cover off to check the mounts where the 7 screws hold it on.
Just a thought?

Alltalk.....Sorry to hear about the OUCH! What brand center stand were you using? I ordered and installed the HD center stand on my 2011.5 .  They call it the display stand. Seems to work ok for me. The legs are adjustable higher if needed. I noticed by adjusting them a bit higher, it takes more effort to roll it off the stand. As a back up, I block the rear tire with a piece of 2x4. This helps prevent any accidental roll off.  Besides....

If you're paying close to $500 for a repair, I'd spend the extra $100 to $150 and get a new one (after the 20% discount). No brainer. You'll always regret it if you don't. Rack it up to a bad day and move on.

Give the bike a real good look over. Check the underside for rash on pans, pipes, crash bars, etc..
I dropped my bike and the damage estimate was just over $5k. Of course that was HD estimate to replace all pieces not a body/paint shop repair.
I got the bike check from the insurance company and then modified the heck out of my bike ;)
