Ha, okay the Rineharts are awesome but the true dual has left the trans-motor connector area looking terribly bland after relocating the left pipe. It seems that neither Harley or Kury sells the nice big chrome piece because of the 2011.5 SEUC hydraulic clutch.
Has anyone found anything that works??

Wow, agree, thanks for the pics.....  :o

Even if they were readily available here in Australia, that is enough to give me pause to consider other options...  I hope you can fix the look as that would bother me to.  It sort of looks like something is missing and you do a double take on it...

I am back to thinking of cleaning out the Cats on the stock pipes and staying with them.   Good luck with this one...

Thebnew Rinehart headers never did anything for me.   Maybe it's time to call Steve at Fulsac  I really like the look of the x pipe header. I'm sure you can use the Rinehart mufflers with them.  Ask for the download if you do.  :2vrolijk_21:

The Harley chrome  cover for that area works. there was a thread on here last year somebody put it on a 2010 (same bike) took alittle bit of redneck engineering but looked good. I think it was just a matter of adjusting one of the mounting tabs a bit. Tha P&A book says it doesn't fit but he persuaded it in there.

They weren't   ;D

Thats why I went with the V&H power duals and rinehart muffler..looks great and sounds great. Also the X pipe gives a few extra hp's.

I debated long and hard on Reinhart's or V&H's , both true duals. I finally decided on the V&H because I had good overall quality success.

But....................I like the opened up area. I think it shows off the heart of the machine better. :2vrolijk_21:

I would disagree with a lot of these comments.  I like the sound and consistent quality and performance of Rinehart True Duals on my last 3 bikes.  I guess it's a preference but I think the V&H Cross pipes along with even the stock head pipes hide the engine.  The reason I ended up staying with the Rinehart system versus D&D Fat Cats or the V&H system which i considered them all is because you had a big bulky look of the head pipe hiding the engine?  I have the black engine block, so maybe this has something to do with it, however on my other bikes i installed the Kuryakyn trans cover over the HD (better quality) to dress it up.  As much as i think the extra chrome may dress up my bike, I don't want to do anything to trap any heat which is the downfall of those covers.  Maybe the gray engine block and that open space kills the look?  I hated the silver painted block that was on my 2007 RG and did everything i could to cover it up.  Maybe you should have gone with black pipes?

PS...not cool to say anything looks like crap, lots of people like and spent $$$ for different looks

This is a great picture that clearly shows how the V-Twin is set in like a jewel with the Reinharts. NICE!

Given that section of the bike, maybe you can install a toaster oven? They should come in a chrome version.

Cobalt, get a catfree HD header, keep the Rinehart mufflers and replace that Rinehart pos header. Problem solved.

Sportygordy,  concensous is spelled consensus. Thanks for calling my bike ugly, I asked for help not insults. IMO your rude. Thank you to all who were actually helping me with my dilemma after purchase.
My home, all the possessions of my family, my cars and ultra burned to the ground 4 days before Christmas, this CVO bike was the first thing that made me feel happy since. You just pissed on it. At first I thought you were representative of this site and its members but then afterward someone restored my faith in kindness.
