Checked the saddlebags and seat and all the large parts that are not alligator skin are plastic!!!
I would of thought they would of been leather, but hey what do you expect for £23000!
Were the 2010 bags leather or plastic?
I find this most unusual for Harley to be such cheapskates.

Don't let this shock you    but.... the "Alligator" is not real either!   

The HD web site for the 2011's describes the bags as "...leather with alligator-skin-styled accents..."

The seat and the passanger pad description is "alligator style inserts." The pillion also is described as having "all weather leather."

 If you look at the backing of the "leather" its definately plastic.
or maybe the European bikes had the cheap n nasty ones!!
It's like the "gold" key is brass etc

As far as I know the seats on CVO's have never been made completely of leather.  At most the actual seating surface has been a form of laminated crap they call leather inserts and the rest of the seat just good ol' vinyl.  The one on my bike is "snakeskin".  Rest assured, no snake gave it's life to create that seat.  If you really want a full leather seat, you will need to seek out a custom seat builder and take lots of cash with you.  Maybe while you're waiting on the custom seat you can take that "gold" key and have it gold plated too.

Personal preference...Leather rides much cooler than vinyl.  Vinyl has a tendency to hold it's "sheen" better and has a bit less maintenance.  However, whether you have either (and I've had both full leather aftermarket and stock "pleather"), I still ride with a good piece of sheepskin between me buttocks and da seat...been doing it for years and it works.

Like most all automobile seats the actual seating surface is leather and the sides are genuine plastic,  except a Corbin seat that is mostly all leather.
