Screamin Eagle Slip-ons

Wanting to install Screaming Eagle slip-ons on my 2011 Heritage.  I've looked at Harley P/N 80494-07 install sheet, and it shows the pipe interconnections as part of the slip-ons. My current stock slip-ons do not have this connection, as it is part of the pipes. Is this a 2011 change?
