send Jim (hd-dude) a pm, he knows what length cables will work with those bars.

Also, this is very important, off the shelf monkeybars will not work on the SE bikes because of the hydraulic clutch master.  You need to special order the bars with the left side clearanced for the master cylinder.

No Matt, we had this discussion before- there are no issues with the 2009's (and I believe the 10-11's). What you speak of only applies to older models.

My shop put on my PYO 10's on my 2009 SERG, and there were no clearance issues with the master cylinder.

My bad.  I guess the new masters don't have this issue.  Glad to hear that.

This site isn't what it used to be, for getting help.

Actually, it's not the site, it's this particular 2000/2001/2009 SERG section- ever since the new SERGU's and SESG's came out, this part of the forum has become very inactive. I noticed it right away, and commented on it back then.

I'd suggest mabye this section should be merged with the 2011 SERGU board.

This site isn't what it used to be, for getting help.

I think it has to do with the age of the SERG.  When any bike first comes out, everyone is making mods to their bikes and posting about it.  They are either asking about mods, showing their mods, or giving advice about mods.  After a couple of years, the mods are done and participation drops.  There are several members who were regular posters who you don't see anymore.

Just the nature of the beast.

Here is the list provided to me by jim glide:

Here's a list of the Parts needed to complete the installation for the 14" Paul Yaffe Handlebars with the Heat Demons:

Polyurethane Riser Isolators: Part # 56298-03 optional
Brake Line, Diamond             : Part # 41770-09
Brake Line, 40"                      : Part # 1741-0058
Clutch Line S/S BT                  : Part # 1741-0471
Twist Grip Sensor Kit (TBW)   : Part # 32310-08
Symtec Heat Demons             : Part # 210045CRET. I purchased the right side clamp control because my Rider's Claw I-Pod holder is mounted on the left side of my handlebars.
I also remember purchasing a banjo fitting for one of the brake lines mentioned above, but I don't have that Part #.
I hope this helps and good luck with your project.
PS. I purchase the 8" wire extension kit, but they weren't needed after all.
