Precision EMS (grinding 02 bungs).
« on: May 01, 2011, 04:49:37 PM »

I'm wondering if it is a normal thing to grind down 02 bungs to get the 02 sensers in the exhaust stream? I have a hot rod 103" with A D&D Fatcat on 2010RG with the new Precision EMS and I'm having tuning problems. Do you think the 02 Bungs could be too long on the D&D?

I can't even imagine how many hundreds of sets of D&D pipes are out there with 02 sensors installed and running fine... without having any grinding of 02 sensor bungs required... :nixweiss:

I have a Boarzilla on a 120" with a 57tb and V-Rod green band injectors and the Rev Perf EMS is performing great IMO, need to take the advice given and find the root of the problem.

Not trying to be funny but by calling up my mech. and asking if he thinks there could be a leak. Whats the best way to check for a intake leak myself? I'm new to this big inch motor stuff and I'm still learing alot. The best way to take care of this kind of stuff is to do it yourself.

:orange: I just got a phone call from Revolution Performance and let me tell you this company is a real class act. They are paying for me to ship my exhaust header to them and they are going to install the correct 02 bungs free of charge, I could not be happier. I will be a life long cutomer of REVOLUTION PERFORMANCE. The owner Brian what a pleasure to talk to. This is a stand up guy for sure. I sent him a e-mail about my problem last night at around 10:30 pm and he returned my e-mail seconds later. Fist thing this morning this guys calls me and tells me he's going to makes things rite if he has to fly a tech here to cleveland to do it.
