I'm trying to v-tune (using TTS) my 120R engine with D&D Bosszilla pipes, 58 mm TB with 5.3 g/s injectors, & Woods 408-6 cams. I'm using an .mt8 file. I have the bike running great, no decel poping from 5000 RPM to idle, and all around very smooth with great acceleration & power, except for one spot. If I'm at idle to 1500 rpm and open up the trottle quickly & fully, the motor bogs. If I open it up medium speed to WOT at idle to 1500 rpm there's no problem, but I can't do a wheelie that way.  :nixweiss:. Any other area of the RPM range this doesn't happen, i.e., if I'm at 2000 RMP or higher and flip the throttle in first or second gear, I have to hold on for dear life. I have no decent tuners in my area, plus I'd like to see if I can figure this out. I'm confident I have no leaks in exhaust or with the manifold throttle body.

To the tuners here, what is the most likely problem or table I should focus most on, VE tables, Lambda table, or accel enrichment? Rev Perf. EMS isn't an option because I have a 2011 CVO SG. I'd appreciate any suggestions.

I'm certainly no expert here but did you adjust the percentage tables for the throttle response of the TBW?

I'd suggest using the timing adjustment feature since you changed cams.

I would venture a guess that you might need to adjust the Accel Enrichment. I would try to decrease it 20% in the temperature range you are talking about. If it gets worse then I guessed the wrong direction, if it gets better but not completely gone then take a little more away.

I spent the afternoon trouble shooting running many Datamaster v-tunes in the troubling RPM range. Without a dynamometer it's very difficult to hit the high loads in the 1000 to 1750 RPM range. You think you are getting data but when you're done with the bike run and look at the results, when I reviewed the histogram I was too often in the "waiting" time rather than "good" time. If I had a dyno I could just see it and get the hits in the ranges I need but I don't have one. Over time I picked up the cells of good data here and there and it became apparent which direction I needed to go. As the bike ran better & better, I was able to collect the data I needed. I solved the problem working with VE tables only. It's like night to day from yesterday.
