How to make MP3 CD
« on: May 05, 2006, 03:32:39 PM »

I am reasonably competent at the computer- tried making an MP3 CD-R with Windows Media Player, Nero 7, IBM RecordNOW...Couldn't make an MP3 disc that did anything but scan through all of the tracks without stopping...

I thought it was a problem with the CD player so sure it wasn't working, I took it to the dealer- one of the techs went home and burnt some rap stuff which played fine...(other than for the content [smiley=nervous.gif]) I asked him what he did "...I just used Windows Media Player...."

Can anyone give me more detailed instructions OR has anyone else got this problem....?  :-?

Thanks

No Rap though, bass makes my bike vibrate too much ;D

I used Windows Media Player to burn all my mp3's, make sure under the (tools menu) (options)(rip- music) and make sure it is set to MP3. I have my setting at 256K and get from 90-110 songs on one disc ;)

Thats what I need- I will re-rip my MP3 and give it a shot.

Will our CD players play the Windows Media Audio File format or do we need to "RIP" using the MP3 format?

They will play the standard audio format. If you want more music on the CD then format it in MP3 [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]
