Need A part Number
« on: May 02, 2011, 10:37:25 PM »

Looking for the part number for the Screamin Eagle tourpack insert shown on this tourpack.  Also does anyone know if it will fit on a 06 tourpack?

Thanks

Yes it will fit.

HD can look it up for you as there are several color combinations, then they will tell you you can't buy it because it is protected.  I have tried everything to get on, even having a friend that ows the right year & color try & get it & they told him not, unless he gave them his old one.

If you figure out how to get one, I am all ears.

Alternative, I have created a decal, I took a picture of an insert (Hi Res), then cleaned it up in Photoshop, made it the same color and my 06 Autum Haze (black background, autumn haze letters) & had a friend print it on special UV resistant Decal material.  I made a metal insert using the original insert as a templete, put the decal on it & it looks great.

I can send you the art work if you want, or tell me what colors & I will Photoshop the right colors in (close) & send you the file that you could get printed.  I might be able to get them printed again, I would have to check, the business sold but I know one of the gals that is still there.

I am thinking the black candy crimson with silver letters, I would appreciate if you can try it or send me the files and I will try.

Thanks,
