Oregon is Beautiful... and wet!

Spent 3 days riding up to Portland for a week of work... And yes,  I can verify that it rains a LOT in Oregon but still had a great ride. Only one tough day in all. Was planing to ride up the coast most of the way but weather pushed me inland on my final day. Here's the route up... fave part going North was riding along the Rouge River.

Special thanks to Terry and Karen (Mr and Mrs Rooster) for the being great tour guides and showing me a little of Oregon on Saturday... and a GREAT burger joint (Calamity Jane's) and some fantastic Apple Strudel and some German restaurant...   Just really great people and enjoyed the ride and the company!

Don't let it out how nice and Green it is here in Oregon Trying to keep every body from moving here . Put the Word out It  rains a lot, you can only get one good month of ridding in :D  It was nice you came and visit :) Next time you come to town need to make out to see the Spruce Goose

Well I'm definitely coming back up there...really want to get over Mt Hood as well as Crater Lake and explore more of those back roads. Such a place of beauty!

Also wanna give a shout out and thanks to bikerboy53 for his help and suggestion on the roads... unfortunately the rain/snow kept me off the mountains. Next time!

 Thanks Chuck, we enjoyed showing you some of the area. Sorry that Mount Hood didn't peek out of the clouds for the picture.

As usual for you, great pics.  I noticed the first half of those pics were taken here in Nor Cal......those are the pics where everything is green and it's not raining. :huepfenlol2:

I'm with in 11 miles of Mac,
Plan on doing the Rose City 500 this weekend they call it the 500 but i will end up putting 590 plus by the time i get home.
 But unless the weather is going to change to be less then 70% rain, I'm thinking of passing

I'm always heading somewhere, we could meet up for a cup coffee or a beer HG5
