O2 sensors
« on: May 05, 2011, 01:05:16 PM »

I have the V&H true duals and PCV on my 010 CVO Ultra.  I would like add the auto tune module but need to  know if the O2 sensors that come with the auto tune module will fit in the bunges on the V&H pipes.  The stock HD units fit but I thought I read that the auto tune sensors are larger.  Thanks

I also think that the auto tune sensors are the 18MM ones which are larger than the stock '10-'11 sensors.

2 things:

1) If you got '10 headers for your '10 bike, then I believe it is fitted with narrow band (NB) O2 sensors. The Wide band sensors (WB) on the Autotune will not fit in narrow band bungs.
2) If you got '09 headers for your '10 bike, then they are able to support the WB sensors, I believe.

So put it this way, if your stock O2 sensors are already installed on your new header (as you noted), the WB Autotune will not fit. You'll need to weld new 18MM bungs to replace the stock NB 12mm.

I went witht he Jackpot 2-1-2 header for that reason: Its fitted with BOTH NB and WB bungs.

Thanks, just as I thought, not interested in changing headers or welding on new bungs right now.  Mine fit the narrow band sensors.
