Accessory Switch
« on: May 05, 2011, 09:50:29 PM »

The book says it controls the power to the accessory connector located under the seat. Can anyone give me some examples of when and what I would use that for? I have always had sporters and super glides. 1st time touring owner. Thanks everybody.

The accessories switch run things that do not have a switch specific function already on the bike. On my 08 SG it's used for the GPS voice through the sound system it will also run the sound for the iPod and other sound devices I plug in via the port provided on the fairing dash.

The wiring harness supplied with my Motolights uses the ACC switch for on/off.
