Better not be anything spectacular with the 2012 model...       I havn't even gotten my Big Blue 2011.5 to Australia yet... 

I hope it is sickly lime green with yellow stripes or something...

I received the same survey, it appears that because of the disaster in Japan that Radios might not be available when 2012 production begins, you would receive your bike minus the radio which would be installed when they are in supply.

They should all come that way anyway so you could concentrate on the mechanical noises during the initial break-end period.  Then install the sounds later to try and drown out what you don't want to hear.  har.  spyder

The 2012 Dealer Summer Meeting is in July.....oops, I better not mention the date, but yeah, the new 2012 will start rolling in the dealers just shortly after the new model year release. I'm sure we're all curious whats coming for the 2012s 

My dealer said this year the factory is actually shipping the '12s before the dealer meeting in July because most dealers are about out of bikes.

Cowboy -I feel your pain. It sucks to know that as soon as you get your new beauty, it will be a year old!!  But look on the bright side -you will still have a beautiful and awesome bike!  And there won't be many (any?) in OZ like it!

I think it has been a hugh Las Vegas event... Don't remember the date from last year. I sure someone on here knows.

It will be in Anahiem Cali this year, week of July 18............. Usually the bikes have been shipped just prior to the show, so they come off the delivery trucks few days after the show... No doubt, the 2012 colors and models are being built as we speak.     and yes, my hotel reservations have been made already...hehe

Yes... The MoCo in the past has not released (shipped) CVO's until after the official release at the dealers meeting (which is in July).

Received their first 2011 FLTRUSE on Tuesday July 27, 2010
Had it uncrated on Wednesday July 27, 2010
On the showroom floor on Thursday July 28, 2010 when I looked at it and bought it.
I took delivery on Saturday July 31, 2010

Sturgis was in August 2010

The dealers start receiving the CVOs the week of their dealer convention as stated elsewhere in this discussion.
