At delivery I set up my CUSE w/V&H duals and V&H pipes. Love the sound, but for trips and such, they are pretty loud. Since I had used them before, I changed out to Bassanni mufflers before having the bike dynoed. I wasn't real happy with the #'s, but with true duals, 6 sp, and 24/37 gearing, I wasn't after just numbers. After a while, I decided to put the V&H mufflers back on cause I really did like the sound. Even though the bike was tuned w/Bassanni installed, it seems to run better from a seat of the pants meter w/V&H. I'm leaving for an Arkansaw trip tomorrow, so this past weekend, I re-installed the Bassanni so I can listen to tunes, and again, from a seat of the pants perspective, the Bassanni don't seem to have as much torque at lower rpms. They do have a good deep sound and are pretty quiet at most throttle settings though. I kinda like having two sets of mufflers to use for different circumstances. I should also say that the dealer that tuned my bike is not known for good numbers, and they told me before hand that they weren't fond of duals, so I don't really feel they put their heart in it.
