Replacement shocks
« on: May 10, 2011, 02:06:47 PM »

I'm thinking about changing from the stock rear air shocks on my 2011 flhtcuse.  Just wondering what anybody has tried and if it made any improvement in the ride.  I never remember to check or fill the stockers until it's too late - usually when I have the wife on the back and we hit a decent bump and bottom out.  I hate that.

I have Progressive and they work well.  I leave them adjusted the same both solo and with BSR on back.  That takes a few rides to figure out.

Only way to go in my opinion, have them on my SEUC and SEEG.  Search Traxxion and read the reports.

I have a couple thousand miles on the Progressive 940s and Monotubes.  Both greatly improved the ride of my FLHRSE4. Both compression and rebound are greatly improved 2-up and solo.

You'd want the 940's

The 940's are made to lower the rear end an inch. I run them with the one inch shorter Mono Tubes and really like the change.
