Dealer called today and notified me my Black Candy Crimson/Charcoal Slate is enroute from York - due to arrive at Lake Erie HD in Sheffield Lake OH on Wed. or Thurs. this week. I ordered it last September and was due to get one in March, but that fell through and I got pushed back to this delivery. In the meantime, visiting this site has been a great way to keep my sanity as it is the first time in the past 14 years without a bike. I sold my 1990 Peace Officer FLHTC to a buddy and watched him and all my other riding friends enjoy the best Spring riding weather I can remember in a long time. This is my fifth Harley if you count the 1970 Legerro (Italian made HD) I had when I was 14. Next was a 1974 XLCH, last year of the right side shift - that was fun! I found out the shifter does not work as a brake in panic stop situations! Sold that around 1978 and went 12 years with no bike, but had little kids, new job and mortgage. Also have a 1993 Sportster 883/1200 that is pretty fast (for me). I really learned alot from reading your posts, everybody. I plan V&H basic slip ons, Hi Flow A/F, and flash - for now, and just ride the piss out of it. I'll decide on future mods once I have some miles in the seat. The great thing is, whatever I may consider somebody here has already done it! OK, this is kinda long - I'll post some pictures when the beast arrives.
