You know, if the dealers weren't charging outrageous prices for service that for some is poor at best, the indy shops wouldn't be in such demand. They just don't get it. Hey dealers, do it right at a fair price, and you won't have to worry about the indy shops taking you business.

I agree, but man there certainly are some super experienced guys in the independent shops.

well the Harley dealership just informed my Indy about this issues of not being able to sell parts, this is totally BS  i refuse to take my bike  and let a snot nose kid fresh out of some tech school who think he knows everything cause he got an A in the class   is totally  BS...   sorry for my rant  but jeez  come on we spend thousands  of dollars on our ride and i sure not gonna let just any Joe blow  wrench on my Baby

Still prolly from that particular dealer & not a MOCO policy. That's been going on in certain situations for years....local dealers trying to punish the local competition who then have to get parts from a out of town dealer.  Inconvient to get a discount, but that's it.   spyder
