Hawg Wired and Hog Tunes are both mentioned a lot. Both are good but a little over priced. I had one of them (can't remember which) on my 2006 Street Glide and was very happy. The amp went bad, however, after 4 years of use. Went with Acer amp and Hurtz speakers from a car stereo place on my 2010 Road Glide and thought it was great and a little less money including the install. Got the 2011 SERG now. Came from the factory with stock amp and upgraded speakers. Sounds ok but may go back to the car stereo place and get the Acer/Hurtz combo again. Have also heard that J&M speakers are good. Some of the folks here have even changed their unit and installed a Sony or Alpine.

If your thinking aftermarket radio the Hawg Wire universal adapter gives you complete control of all your radio functions as well. Besides the adapter I installed their speakers and amp and have had zero problems over the last two years. Absolutely no distortion at any volume setting you choose...their products are well designed and engineered.

I have the Hawg Wired and really like it. Just waiting to hear how people like their 6.5" speakers.

I went with the J&M 250W amp and 7.25" speakers on my batwing. Check out jmcorp.com

I purchsed the kits from phatperformanceparts.com at competitive prices only a few weeks ago and Jim @ J7M supports bothe Phat Performance and  Dr V-Twin. Good luck

I started by upgrading the stock speakers to Hog Tunes. Sound was ok but not great, really needed an amp. This past winter I pulled out the Hog Tunes and went with all Hawg Wired, 4 speakers and 300 watts. Yes a bit pricey but with a bike worth close to 40K whats another grand or two.

Contact Jim (hd-dude), he saved me a good amount of $$$ to buy more things I don't need. He is very knowledgeable with what needs to be done for make and model and helpful with decision making  :2vrolijk_21:
