Hello
I found this forum doing a Google search to learn the value of my Switchblade.

What is a good asking price for a 2001 in "like new" condition? It has 9000 miles on it and is in standard condition with the exception of Stage 2 and pipes.
Also, is there a place on this forum to list it?

Good to see you guys are here.
I already posted but can't seem to find my message.
I have to sell my bike and I hope I'm not posting in the wrong place.
My bike is a 2001 model with 9000 miles on it. It is in perfect condition and looks brand new.
It is in standard condition with the exception of a Stage 2 conversion and V&H pipes.
Thanks for being here.........the recent tornado ('s) missed my house by 2 miles.

Kinda embarrassed about my first (and second) post.
I like forums and their members. I used to have a Kawasaki W650 which is pretty rare in the US. That forum was worldwide. We together sorted out all kinds of modifications and such.
The groups knowledge far surpassed the dealerships.

Welcome aboard from Minnesota! Glad you've joined the fun. Wish it was under better circumstances.

I own an '01 Switchblade myself so I know how hard it must be to part with your bike. Know I wouldn't want to part with mine. In terms of value, I spend a lot of time watching these bikes come and go. Current value for a bike like yours would be between $10,000-$13,000 depending on how patient you are. They seem to lose about $1K in value every year which would put it at about $13,000 but there are quite a few of them out there for sale right now, some with very low miles (under 2,000). There have been as many as 5 at a time on ebay this spring and always 4-8 of them on chopper exchange. They aren't as rare as they were presented to be in 2001, nor are they going up in value. Good luck with the sale, hope things turn around for you soon!

Welcome from west Tennessee! Also would like to add that in my experiences through life, selling my bikes during hard times really didn't help in the long run. Things somehow always seem to work out ok. Good luck
