2011 110' CVO Spec'
« on: June 01, 2011, 07:40:52 AM »

Hi Guys,

Just got delivery of a new, and my very first CVO 110 EG. Can anyone tell me the standrd engine specification as far as cams, valves etc, what would you reccomend I look at first for fine tune? I've fitted a SERT, and V&H Ovals stock? The engine runs very hot, what about headers?

Any advice is welcome

Cheers,

S

Hello and welcome. I'm not sure I understand the question completely but can tell you that the bike comes stock with the 255 cam and it makes good low end torque. Most go with pipes, a high flow breather and a tuner for the first go round. After that the options are to numerous to count and depends on what your goals are.

You need to get rid of the stock head pipes. That is where the cat is. It will run so much cooler then. The SERT is good as long as you have good person to tune it.
The engine has the 255 cams. The stock air cleaner is good, no need to change it. The engine has about 85 horsepower stock with the cats. A good tune, replace the head pipes and you should be in the low 90's horsepower wise and a lot cooler on the right leg.
 Good luck.
