Confirmed...It's bad enough I ride with no helmet and flip-flops...By the way I was forced to place my $20 helmet on my head due to the winds to keep my glasses on...they were blown off once...

I finally arrived to I-25 where I was greeted with some civilization in New Mexico.

I only had a few miles on this road in New Mexico and saw a sign that stated “Scenic Overlook”.  I was thrilled to think I would see something special in this state…But it turned out to be in Colorado.

It's a shame that your time in New Mexico was spent in the part that looks like Oklahoma and Texas. We do have many beautiful sections of the state but you've have successfully avoided them. If anyone ever wants to ride a weekend in beautiful parts of New Mexico, let me know. I'll show it to you.

Captain’s Log | 05.31.2011

Suddenly I feel like a child and its Christmas Eve.  I have plenty to occupy my mind and work to conduct but the strain is drawing at me.  I have been on the telephone for most of the day…work, friends, and preparation. 

The bike is now packed up and I could not place another item on it if I wanted one.  Goosh…that “shoe box” I joke about would come in handy right now!

I know it will be difficult to get any rest tonight but try I must.  It will be an early morning since I have no choice given an early AM appointment.

Well I be damn... Jock... you sneaky d00d.... Congrats on the new scooter!!!
