For a dollar,,, go for it  :P. Actually, if you can save a few dollars, I would go for it. Looks like it's a darn good replica and would serve your purpose.....Why Not  :nixweiss:

"Hinges, latches, and hardware not included"  Sounds like a bit of a pain to me.  You get to do all the fabrication and painting yourself.

And if anybody has ever put just a bit to mutch in the fiberglass tour packs of days gone by....you soon start noticing the spyder webb cracks running across your paint on the lid.  But don't ask me how I'd know that. :nixweiss:


I've crammed way more in my new style plastic tour pack and never had any problems.  By the way.....when will they make a super king size tour pack for the really long hauls?  I hate carrying everything in at night, at each motel and don't like having to worry about rain, etc.   I really like to just lock the bags and tour pack and forget about it all. :2vrolijk_21:

They do make a super king size tourpac  its made by Bushtec.

I would think it's a weight and balance issue that high up on the bike and on the removable mounting system?
