gonna do the fullsac x pipe w 1.75 baffles. 2011 FLHXSG2
« on: June 09, 2011, 07:18:05 PM »

so i have made up my mind to go the Fullsac route. My last question is should i do the TTS mastertune or the Powervision? i would love to hear from folks who have one or the other or both.

my past experience was with T-max and i loved the adjustablility of it. i am slightly.....slightly concerned with changes in weather and season affecting how my bike runs with only one Map that is provided with the TTS. But from what i have read the TTS and map that is provided by Fullsac is very highly regarded. Thanks :pineapple:

I have the Fullsac 1.75, cat removed and the TTS tuner and professionally dyno tuned (I say "professional because there are a lot of tuners out there that don't have a clue what the hell they're doing), and the Fueling 574 cams.  Click on this link, the first dyno sheet posted is from my bike.....  http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=44545.msg674990#msg674990

I went with the same combination on my bike. I have seen no issues...at any time of the year with Steve's TTS map. Bike is cooler...and runs great.

Forgot to mention....with the TTS, I've rode in 24F weather and 112F temps, low himidity and high humidity, rain, etc. and I haven't noticed any difference in the way it runs. :2vrolijk_21:

I have the X Pipe with 1.75" cores, and the TTS tuner with Steve's map... my bike runs great! The sound is perfect for me.  :2vrolijk_21:

But, but.... I like running all over the country.  :orange: :orange: :orange: :orange:

I am waiting on a weekend when my wife is here to go to Corbin and get a seat at this point. That way we are both comfortable.

This is the set up I am thinking about going with. I'm not really into loud exhaust, have had to ride behind too many to enjoy! Did it cool the right side down much?

Yes, it did cool down the right side. I no longer have to worry about a "well done" right calf!  :o

Steve also shipped out my stage  1 with 1.75 cores today.  :) Does anyone have any pointers for removing the stock exhaust header and crossover pipes and installing the x pipe ?  I know Steve sends the kit with instructions but as we all know there is nothing like suggestions and experience from someone that has done it already.

Thanks
