Stage 1, 2, or Stock??
« on: May 15, 2006, 10:58:44 PM »

Ok thought I knew, but know I am wondering.  I have a 2001 SERG that is 95' with a SE air cleaner and V&H True Duals and Sampson Rolled Thunder Slip ons.  So is the ECU stock, Stage 1, or Stage 2?

It's probably no more than stage 1, but it could be stock.  Depending on how much you want to increase performance, there are lots of ways to go.  Several have done a Race Fueler.  It's pretty simple and easily tuned.  I'm fairly certain there is a Screaming Eagle Race Tuner (sert) available for the MM injection, so you can get it dyno'd right on up to snuf.  Of course the sert will allow for greater adjustment when you change cams, heads and etc.

Guess I should have mentioned that I put a PCIII USB on it, which was what got me wondering about this since they group there maps by ECU stage.

if those are the only mods you have done, then you have a stage 1.
which is stock for your motor.
