i installed the dual bulb headlight kit from hd in 07 - works really well

the led headlight that hd sells currently is apparently really good - id go that route if i was doing it now

It took me 18 months to change the pos headlight on my sesg.  I went with the HD led headlight and also the led passing lights.  Expensive even when ordering from a 20% dealer but was worth every penny to me.  There are a few threads with pictures..........

I changed to the LED headlamp and added the LED passing laps on my 2011 SESG and worth EVERY penny!!  Not only does it make a huge difference lighting up the road at night, I have had drivers in cars tell me they could see me much better in Daylight!!

I know this has been answered before, but too lazy to look.
Is the Dual LED headlight a direct replacement for the Halogen...same wiring, plug etc?

Gets old, cleaning the "fogged up" lens housing.

HID headlamp and Moto Lights solved my "overrun" issues.

Probably will change passing lamps to LED also.

Laylonlor, I'm guessing you probably already did this, but have you checked the adjustment of the headlight. Both new Hd's I have purchased 1995, and 2009 have had the headlights totally out of adjustment. So was my friends 06 Dyna except his was pointing up to the tree tops. If you haven't look under "Headlight" in your owner's manual. CAHDBIKER

Had the headlight & passing lamps installed with HD LED's today.  Very cool looking but haven't had them out at night yet.   SUUUUPER PRICEY but worth it.   I am also putting LED's in my MotoLights as well.  This will give me LED's all around.  Lastly, adjust the headlamp like it's suppose to be per the manual.  Mine was off when I purchased the bike and off again since the change to LED's.  Very simple adjustment.

YES, ITS A DIRECT REPLACEMENT HOWEVER YOU WILL NEED TO BUY A DIFFERENT HARNESS.  THE STREET GLIDE HAS A SINGLE PLUG, IF YOU GO WITHE THE DUAL HALOGEN, YOU WILL NEED TO BUY A 'Y' PLUG BECAUSE THE DUAL HALOGEN NEEDS TWO CONNECTIONS.  OTHER THAN THAT, ITS PLUG AND PLAY.  IF YOU GO WITH THE HD LED, YOU DO NOT NEED ANY OTHER CONNECTORS, YOUR CURRENT PLUG WILL WORK.  I SOLD MY DUAL HALOGEN ON E-BAY WHEN I GOT MY LED.  I HAD TO DO THE REVERSE, SPEND $45 FOR A TWO DOWN TO ONE PLUG.  IF YOU CAN GET A DEALER TO GIVE YOU 20% OFF, AND SINCE YOU WON'T HAVE TO BUY THE "Y' CONNECTOR FOR THE DUAL HALOGEN ($60) YOU POTENTIALLY KNOCK ALMOST $200 OFF THE PRICE OF AN LED.  PERSONALLY, THE LED IS THE WAY TO GO OVER THE DUAL HALOGEN, PLUS IT LOOKS COOL!

I may be mistaken, but i thought it had a lifetime warranty?  They just came out with them this year and they have been on back order becasue of demand, I doubt if anyone has had them long enough to answer that question?  I would assume that even HD would take vibration into account before engineering and designing a product....but then again????
