2011 CVO Street Glide - Seat not comfortable
« on: June 12, 2011, 09:41:11 PM »

I am about 6'0 and find that I am sitting too close.  After a few hours, I feel kind of scrunched.  Did anyone change the seat so you would sir further back?

Yeah I agree about wanting to move back a bit after a few hours in the saddle.
I have just fitted a C&C sporttouring (? ) seat with embossed flames. Looks awesome , but a bit hard.
Went for 4 hour ride today and even though I felt like it was  further back I still felt cramped.
I had a Corbin on my previous bike, which was firm but awesome on long trips and it did move me backabout one and half ( maybe 2 ) inches.
While I love the look of the C&C , I reckon the Corbin is the go.
IMHO anyway  :nixweiss:

I had the same issue and fitted a set of the extended footboards to give me a bit more leg room, worked great but I reckon the seat needs a bit more padding in the bottom part and moved back an inch or so for a bit more comfort on the long hauls, the Corbin or Mustang might just be the way to go. let us know which way you go.

Go to the Corbin factory in Hollister, CA. Their solo seat is pretty comfy as is, and it is a little further back. I had them scoop a little out from the back so I sit a bit further back and a little lower down. I've been three times for adjustments, takes forever but it's always free.
I was on a Corbin on my old ride, so when I got my 10 SESG I rode the stock seat for a total of two days - the ride home from the dealer, and down to hollister the next day.
