If so, what was the process you followed to make this set up work?

Thinking the front would be doable with an axle change....

The back is where I totally lost.  :nixweiss:

Front can be done with an axle change. Rear is too wide for the stock swingarm and fender. It can be done with a wide tire kit.

Jim,

What all would be necessary to complete the wide tire kit?

If its too troublesome Plan B would be something contrast cut from PM, maybe the Wrath's....

I have the 18inch Airstrike front wheel on my SEEG.  I bought it off EBAY already set up with 1 inch bearings.  It was a straight bolt on.  I am running a 140 Pirelli Night Dragon that came installed on the wheel.  I tried a Night Dragon on the rear and it wore out pretty quickly, about 6000 miles.  I replaced it with an Elite 3 and only have a few hundred miles on it. The Prielli up front is wearing great.

I used a rear wheel from a Road King Custom. Not a perfect match, but not bad considering that you can hardly see it back there anyway.

I gave up on the Agitator idea and purchased a set of Performance Machine Diesels 18/18 combo w/Metzler 880 tires from Coastal Moto.

They should be here the middle of next week and I'm jonesing already to get them on the bike.  8)

The solution = PM Roland Sands Diesels 18/18 with Metz 880's.

I have the front 18 incher on my B/B. I didn't change the back so no info on that.  But I had spacers made, and the matching rotors are a must due to the way they mount to the wheel, and lastly the new brembro calipers are also needed with those rotors. It's not that hard to do but does require some thought. After getting all the new parts the cost was about the same as a PM or like set-up,  but I REALLY liked the look of the black and chrome wheel with the black and blue paint it's like a perfect match(to me) and it's all screaming eagle parts and thats not a bad thing.

I still have mine.

Please PM me a reasonable offer and I'd be willing to consider letting them go.

Also have the front rotors if you need them.

I too have a set of Detonator rims (stock rims from a 2004 SEEG) that need to be rechromed.  I will let them go cheap to someone who will pick them up in the Fort Worth area.
