No such thing as a "decent" price on a hotel in Jackson but it's a great place to stay.

I don't remember the name of the place we stayed but as far as Jackson goes, it was reasonable and I'd highly recommend it.  Just don't remember the name of it.  It's across the street from the park on Jackson St. (two blocks walk to the town square) and here's the room.....   http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=54514.msg787352#msg787352

Last time I was there was two or three years ago.  Even the Super 8 was $200 a night.  Stayed at a place called the Ranch Inn that I'd used before.  Relative to the market it was always inexpensive.  Still was a couple years ago.  Was about half what even the Super 8 was getting.  Place is downtown.  Might be worth a phone call.

Chuck I found it on one of those lodging discount web sites and I think I paid $120 last Sept.  Remember, lodging is way, way down so look around and find the great deals and then check out their ratings on Trip Advisor.com

Where ever you stay, I'd strongly suggest within a couple of blocks of the town square, then everything is walking distance. :2vrolijk_21:

Quite a few years ago I made the mistake of riding into Jackson Hole with no reservation....not a room available in the whole place for any price.  Ended up having to cross that mountain over into Idaho to find a room.  Don't wanna do that in the dark.  Economy may have changed that now, but.. :-\....???  spyder

Stayed here a couple of years ago. Pretty nice. They matched the Days Inn or Super 8 price which still wasn't cheap. No pool.

I stayed at the Wyoming Inn, bit it's more than basic. There's a Best Western in Jackson. Jump on Trip Advisor. It shows a pretty good selection and price ranges.

I think he means Teton Pass.  Tioga Pass is in Yosemite National Park in Calif. :2vrolijk_21:

We always stay at the Bestwestern.  There's a bus stop right across the street if you want to leave the bikes parked.  If you're looking for a nice restaurant, try the Blue Lion.  The lamb and steaks are awesome!

Can't remember the exact name because it was a few years ago, but they were little 1 or 2 BR cabins and I think we paid $150 per night for a single.  Cowboy Village maybe?  Awesome place, I would stay there again and everything is walking distance.  Go online and look for something close to that, but perfect place, park your bike right in front of the cabin, they have hoses to wash your bike if you want too?

We were there late July/August last year and stayed at the Quality Inn and Suites 49'er, we were in a suite in a newer part of the complex, the rooms were very nice. The location is about 4 blocks from the center of town, easy walk to everything. There were about 30 other bikes there at the time, most of them were headed to Sturgis. We were a bit leary about staying there due to the mixed reviews on the internet but we didn't have any problems. FYI everything in Jackson Hole is pricey!!
