Is it necessary to Vtune your bike if you've had it professionally tuned?

I guess that depends on how "professionally" it was tuned, but no, you shouldn't have to do that.

To be sure you can ride a data log run to see how well your "professional" tune really is calibrated. But if your happy as is I'd ride it & forget it!!

First, I'd never have my bike dyno tuned unless I trusted the tuner and knew of his reputation, and I get the .mt8 final file. After the professional tune, the thought would never cross my mind to Vtune and check the tuner's work. There is a chance I might make a map change if there was decel popping or minor adjustments. If the tune seemed suspect, I'd take the motorcycle back to the tuner who did it in the first place.
