Rear bulbs
« on: June 17, 2011, 08:24:50 PM »

Does anyone else have issues with their rear bulbs burning out on 2011 FLSTSE2 softtail convertible? I have 1,200 miles and had 3 bulbs burn out already.

Switched to LEDs and have not had any problems.  Put about 2500 miles with stock bulbs and no problems either.

Mine are bulbs but at 3,000 are doing just fine.  Pork.  But do agree..........LED's are pretty cool.

On the European version the rear lights is LED....... no reason to change the "bulbs". Just the font signals are in the stock version still bulb .

I left mine red.  They look great and are plenty bright enough. I put amber lenses in the front instead of smoked.

LED  in the rear lights in australia and no smoked lens, maybe that is why we pay $10,000 more than usa
