Hey Cyril,

I got my handbook a couple of weeks after the bike, so if you need any info, just pm me.

Also, just got the Service Manuals, so same goes for that.

How are you enjoying the change from the Ultra?

Is that the correct air pressure?

I didn't read the book.

It came from the dealer with 38 front and back and thats what I have been keeping them at!!

Hey TC, wonder why not?  :nixweiss: spyder

Kind of odd to me too, Spydy...must be something about the new type of tire they have on the bike...different compounds in the center and off center.

But, that's what the book says, so that's what I'm gonna' do  :nixweiss:

I also wonder about that new spec, versus the old 36-40 depending on number of passengers, etc.  I'll offer this hypothesis just for grins, since we'll never get a real answer from H-D.   With the ever increasing weight of the touring bikes, and the laxity of many riders when it comes to resetting air pressures when going from one-up to two-up riding, they probably sought to simplify the whole thing and err on the side of higher pressure which is safer than low pressure.  :nixweiss:

Btw, when I looked at those tires on the Dunlop site I noticed they also list recommended pressures as 36 front, 40 rear, but the interesting item was how they now show the max load rating at 42 psi, not 40.

Thanks for the reply`s RGvsUC  the RG stops easier without the front trying to turn either way at the last few feet but front end wobble at speed when i let go (not if cruise is engaged) overall i like it feels familiar screen height about right.
