We both like the stock look so the Fullsac sounds good and I thought there may be a cost savings. He will having the dealer doing all the work so there is quite a bit of labor charge and he may have to use the SERT. I am not sure if the dealer in our area has worked with the Fullsac system. Steve if you are reading you should approach Dave at Smoky Mountain HD and get him sold on your product. If you can it might be good for the pocket book. :2vrolijk_21: Those guys do a ton of service in the area. They are the go to shop in the East TN area.

Kind of going about it backwards.  The dealership should be doing what the customer wants, not what a supplier or manufacter wants.  Fullsac is a proven product on the CVOs and I think it's safe to say that more people on here running Fullsac than any other brand.

Your buddy should be telling the dealership about Fullsac and the dealership will find out soon enough. :2vrolijk_21:

Whats better than a vendor tooting his own horn is countless real life riders who are super pleased with his products- best testimonial of all. Add in the fact the prices are reasonable, your supporting a smalltown USA outfit, and you get great service from a nice guy and fellow forum member.......

Ooohhhh....somebody else already beat me to it.  Point remains the same. :2vrolijk_21:

Just give Steve at Fullsac a call then. If he's not there, leave a message- he is really good about returning calls. I'm sure he'd be pleased to give you the sales pitch in person (on the phone).

Do true duals run hotter or feel hotter than the x-pipe? I heard they did but could see no reason for it.

I've got one of each, don't notice any real difference. :nixweiss:

I just ordered the Fullsac Stage 1 Sleeper kit for my bike today with 1-3/4" baffles.  I should have them on Monday.....will post results shortly thereafter!

Hey Kridley.

I am torn between getting the 1.75 or the 2.0 baffles......waiting to hear what you think especially on the highway with the radio on.

I had the 2.25" fullsac baffles on mine and had no problem hearing the radio on the highway. You should be fine with either choice.

X 2-did the exact same thing, and I am happy with the switch.

Mano, if we ever do a GTA CVO get together, you could listen to mine  ;D.

I don't know why everyone worries about exhaust drowning out your radio at highway speed- THE WIND is your ears enemy on the highway, not the exhaust. Putting on a better windshield to block wind noise would help you hear your stereo better.

My Rineharts seem to settle in to a nice low tone on the highway. I'm only running a 10" Windvest, but with all that plus an upgraded stereo system, I have no probs hearing the stereo on the highway with ear plugs in. Yes, ear plugs- they will do the most for blocking the evil wind noise and actually help you hear your stereo.

I did this to my SERGU, with the 2" cores, and couldn't be happier with the results.  Barks a little when I want it to, but not loud at cruising speeds.  The 1.75" cores would be slightly quieter, but still sound "like a Harley".  A LOT of folks are running this system with excellent results.

X2  Count me as one of the Happy Riders.  I went with the 2" baffle.

Ok, ready for my sales pitch?  "Parts that actually work"! How bout "Cheap parts that work good"! Wait that didn't sound right.

"Hall ass for less cash"? Good? no. "Cool off the wifes boots for a lot less loot"? "Keep the wifey happy or you'll get a slappy." That was for HogMike. LOL..Just kidding Susie.

Let me go back in the dyno room and work on this new shiney black Snow Blower (Victory) and I will think of something clever.

Thanks everyone for your support. You Guys are awesome!
