Almost done....... :bananarock:

Did you fab the lids or buy them? Looks awesome Hawk. I finally got the nerve to cut the holes in my inner fairing and mount the 6.5 pioneers like you have. Took me a year! There in and sound great but I can never have too much! Now I want the ones you have in your bags!!!!! :pepper:

Face, I got the lids from Bagger Audio without the speakers. I added Polk Audio db series (marine grade) 6X9's 2 in the bags and 2 in the lids. This system is amazing!!!!!!!! I am also using a JVC DVD head unit and Biketronics BT-480 amps (2 kits). Thanks all for the positive feedback.  :2vrolijk_21:

Thanks Hawk. Three more question.
who did you get to paint the lids for you?
Did you make everything quick disconnect so you can remove the bags?
Did you put the amps in the bags of fairing?

Face, Local painter that performs all my custom work. yes, quick disconnects on both sides and the amps are mounted in the faring. The biketronics amps are small but powerful.  :2vrolijk_21:

Thanks! At the risk of being a pest how about some pics of your quick disconnect solution? I can handle the amp on my own and the wiring . I already have a biketronics amp in my fairing. Just wondered what kind of connectors and where you put them. I ordered another amp yesterday. Thanks again!

Thank you. So you just used a Harley type water proof plug. I was thinking you might have used some hi tech audio type plus. Works for me. simpler the better. Guess I better get busy spending some more money. Face  :2vrolijk_21:

Face/Hawk -

Both of your setups look awesome! Congrats!!

Hawk - question for you. How do you prevent the speakers from leaking around the hole in the woofer for the md/tweeter stalk? I would think if caught in a downpour or riding in moderate rain the woofer would fill with water and leak through the woofer hole.

Has that been an issue?
