Hi Guys,

Just fitted the above gauge after a lot of messing around, as usual with HD accessories didn't fit as per instructions, rear rocker box bolt would not fit because of interference with the frame tube, ended up using the standard length bolt with thinner spacers, finally get to fit the last wire in the fuse box, the instructions say us the P&A socket "this will be empty" guess what it wasn't, I think that was written for the standard Road king (no cruise).

Can anybody tell me how find and use a switched live in the fuse box on my 2007 CVO Road King.

Have never actually followed the instructions for any of those gauges I've installed.  Rather than going to the fuse panel always took that lead up inside the fairing in a single wrap with the sender wire and used the feed that powered the original instrument.

If you've already got the lead run to the fuse panel you've still got an easy solution.  Use an "add-a-circuit" pigtail.  It plugs in to an existing fuse hole and created two circuits where once there was one.  Crimp the new power lead you've run as part of the gauge install to the tail of this pigtail.  One of the fuses is for your new circuit and one is for the original circuit.  You can buy these things at any decent auto parts store in their electrical accessory section.
