Drag Races 6/26/11

The winner. 1st in "Bagger" and Overall event winner.



2nd Place Bagger



1st place non-bagger. This bike was built from spare parts they had around the shop.

This was a classic case of overconfidence

I have the horsepower, so I just made sure I didn't red light... figuring I could run him down and pass him. Guess again.

I ran 11.685 and LOST to an 11.977... needed like 20 more feet...






This is an old GS-1150E laying down an 8.75 second pass...

A better light would have been better than 20 feet.

There was ONE Harley (Softail) making time runs early in the day. He ran 11.15 which made him the fastest 'cruiser' bike in the place. I wanted to talk to him about the motor but he left before I had the chance.
