 I was there, and Marty is still growing the piece back from the a$$ chewing I gave him. That bike has NEVER been that dirty since.
Sorry I cannot add to this thread as my bike is never dirty!!!

Has anyone mentioned the fact that even though Marty's bike may have a little road grime on it, his 09 SEUC has crossed the 50K mile threshold.
Marty is a rider. Something to be said for a man that uses a tool for it's intended purpose.

I think of it as patina not grime...cant get it in a can only from riding...I have a pal that has not washed his 06 rk since new, now it seems not to get any dirtier..zen and the perfect tune. :drink:

We rode in rain five out of the first seven days of our two week Lobster Ride 2011. and I don't mean a shower here and there.  All day rain!

The bike was spotless when I left.  Pulled out of the driveway and a couple of drops of rain on the windshield.  Got to the end of my street and the bottom fell out.  Frog chokin' rain the first three hours of the trip!

Here's a dirty picture for you. My FLTRUSE got it's bug-cherry popped fall of 2010 on a road trip to Kalamazoo, MI. This picture was taken on the return leg in Topeka, KS.

Last July in the Arizona high country. As I remember it, this stretch of road was 30ish miles long. It wasn't so bad but then it started to rain.  >:(

This is only a great photo if it is of other peoples machinery. I was second in line, so I didn't get hammered as bad as those behind me.  :'(

After the ride from Houston up to Sturgis.  I learned that Nebraska bugs are big and juicy!  Since the Street Glide has no lower fairings, my boots and jeans were just as nasty.  One particularly large offender ricocheted off my shin, then my forearm and then my neck, leaving red marks in all 3 places.

Things I have had to buy because of this site 2.0 fullsac baffles, PV tuner, glare polish, floorboard extn, clearview w/shield, locking lower doors, motorcycle armour, bass ports in tourpac, Iron aces mount for Power Vision Tuner V&H Power duals
and not close to finished!!!
