An Eagle has landed in BAMA!
« on: May 23, 2006, 08:15:37 PM »

Got a call from my dealer this afternoon, and my Black Candy Crimson/Slate has arrived!! :o [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif] [smiley=drink.gif] [smiley=drink.gif]  I was surprised since the last word was it wasn't going to ship until June 1st, but hey, who the hell's complaining?  Got to go to Mobile and sign the papers so they can do the few add-ons I want, listed below. That's about 225 miles from here, but only takes about 4 hours or less to get there.  All the parts aren't in (I think they were surprised as well), but hopefully I'll be able to pick her up next weekend!!  Now I for sure won't sleep   ;)  It's still in the crate, so don't know about the paint yet, but surely they wouldn't ship one at this point without the new paint process  [smiley=nervous.gif]

I'm just glad it's here!! [smiley=banana.gif] [smiley=jalapeno.gif] [smiley=banana.gif]

Yeah, even the dogs were excited when I got home...Shug, the Greyhound knocked me down!!  If I could, I'd give 'em a ride.

Hang in there Baron...it's tough to wait, but it'll be here...maybe you'll get surprised and get it early!

Thanks for the sentiment; the bikes actually waiting for me and not me waiting for it.  I don't transfer (Active Duty military) out of here (Korea) til next month.  I'll pick it up the first week back, get 2 months to break it in and then ship to Belgium...Lots of European riding time in store for us; unfortunately it can't deploy with me so we will have periods of separation..
