Lookin to either add a fairing and hard bags to my 07 FLHRSE3 or update to the new Street Glide CVO. Has anyone out there added the fairing and hard bags?? If so, what brand?

I just got done researching detachable fairings and decided to go with the Dragon Fly with the upgraded stereo and speakers. I have the same bike as you and they use Bigfatys (Gene) to color match the paint. as for the hard bags I used my stock bags and recovered them in Alligator. now it's 6 long weeks till I get it  . good luck

Dead center, nice fairing, never came off after it went on even though it was a quick dissconnect. Repainted bags, but I would buy new primed maybe.

Did all that then sold for Ultra...

Dead Center fairing , and stock HD bags in my config..  Love the option to remove the fairing when not on long hauls.  Jason Volanski did the paint, he is in vendor section for contact info, perfect match of colors.

I am going with the Dragonfly fairing as well. I dont think he uses Gene anymore though. Drogonfly recently moved to Anaheim, Ca. I stopped by there to see his shop and they are great people. He took me through his whole shop showing me all the bikes and fairings. Very nice people !
He said he has a new painter in the Anaheim area that he is using because he is geographically more convenient than Gene.  He has asked to use my 08 SERK so his painter can match the Crystal Copper color.
I have looked at alot of aftermarket fairings and the Dragonfly definately looks the best quality and finish.

I talked to Kevin at Dragon Fly last week and he told me he is using Gene to paint my fairing. that's the second reason I went with them

if your still lookin for ideas,  I have the Hoppe fairing, and the extended bags on mine.
got the bags from an outfit in Mitchel SD, called  www.topshopcarbon.com (not cheap) the lids and hardware I got on ebay.
 love the Hoppe fairing. on and off in seconds.

and as stated, Gene - info@paintbygene.com  is in Washington state

I bought Hard bags off of e-bay each one was a different color and year, Faring came from a company here in town that mfg's farings and King Tour Pak i bought new from Tri-County H-D, Had everything sent to Gene's for painting which they matched the Razor Red to a T, Pam done a great job matching the Gold Oak Flames.

I probably would have bought a SESG if they made them when I bought the SERK.  I am very happy with the Dragonfly.  Sound quality is excellent at 75 MPH.  In the 2 years I have had it I have never wanted to take it off.

Well, I pulled the trigger and ordered a Dragonfly fairing last week. It is getting painted to match my 08' Annie SERK.
I will post pictures when I get it. Should be about a month as Kevin is in Sturges for two weeks.
