Rider Down in Manitoba
« on: July 14, 2011, 11:16:43 AM »

Have a good friend and his wife were riding along side of a semi when he felt maybe his rear tire go flat. He sustained bumps bruises & road rash and his wife was taken to Portage la Prairie Hospital with injuries. Doctor had some other concerns and shipped her to Winnipeg for more tests and scans.

Hopeing for the best

May it be that everything is fine with her, sounds like your friend was very lucky. Wish them both the best & speedy recovery.

Thanx for your thoughts ALL.

Hope and prayers for a speedy recovery!  Hopefully they will both be up and riding in no time.  Only good thing coming out of this is deciding which bike is next.

I hope and pray she recovers fully. My wife had a bad accident a few years back. Broke her leg. She got on 3 months later. Hopefully this doesnt ruin their riding time.

I can understand her reluctance to get back on the bike. I hope she recovers fully.
I know you said he had road rash - weren't they wearing leathers?
My prayers are with them.
