Hi, thinking of either one of the above.  I am convinced of the quality of the Schubert C3, but was thinking of either a Scorpion EXO 900 or Bell Revolver helmet (both at nearly one third of the price of the C3).  Does anyone have any experience with those two as a comparison/alternative modular helmet?  I ride a 2011 CVO SESG, so not a lot of wind noise problems behind the fairing. :coolblue:

I just got the C-3 and have 3000 miles on it and love it. Quiet, solid and more ventilation than my HJC. Rode 5 hrs in rain this weekend and stayed dry in it. If price is an object, get one of the others. I'd get another one if this one got stolen.

We did the Scorpion and it's a lid. About all I can say.  ;D Na it's ok for a cheap helmet and I bought a pair on sale because I wanted something low cost. I knew we weren't going to be riding much and didn't want to invest heavily. Now when I get finished here then I'll pop for quality helmets.

They're a bit heavy, not real solid and you'll hear some noise. I wanted to use them for bluetooth (Sena 10's) but those 2 items don't integrate very well together. If you were to use a wired headset through the port on the side then that might be ok. If you know you're gonna ride a lot and want a good quality helmet with sound deadening I wouldn't recommend the EXO-900 transformers. But when I got them they were like $179 ea and a good deal. They are one of the few that are designed for oval heads which was a big factor. I ordered ours online thinking we measured everything. We got pretty close but if you have the dough, find a shop that sells them and has people qualified to fit you. Arai is supposedly good at that, not sure about the Shubert line.
