When I first read this thread I got bummed as this happened to me also having a rock hit the front fender. Got a replacment for mine and all is good but still have the old fender and when I see it, it brings back the bad memory. I will have to get that thing fixed so I dont have to look at it.

Tommy, I'm so happy for you seeing that you should get it covered due to the wheel weights missing, sure made my morning seeing how just beloning to this comunity cane save someone some money.
That's a 'bunch' of money for a front fender.  :drink:  spyder

Well not quite as much as you think, found a custom fender at a swap meet that was painted to match my b&b seeg $50. Took some buffing and there is a dent where it hit from compressing but it cant be easily seen and it looks so good till I figure what I'm going to finally do with this bike.

Sorry for your bad luck Tommy, at least you didn't hit the asphalt.  Listen to Chip, you will either get a new fender free or 30 days of incarceration for falsifying a report.   :huepfenlol2:

I also notice there are no weights on the rear wheel.,

When the front ones came off the dealer put some more on but they also came off, found one set just laying next to the tire.

I do fill like I'm on a wash out road going down the road at 60mph, so i put the centeramatic on the front but still fills rough. (bouncy

When the dealer puts the new fender on this weekend i will have them pull the rear tire and put the centramatic on it, and spin the front wheel to see how she balance out.

I think i have put over 2500 to 3000 miles on the bike with tires being out of balance not sure if they have started cupping and this my be part of the rough ride

When they change the fender they should also change the tire.
Good luck and let us know.

I just noticed 2 cracks in the front fender passenger side where it is obvious two weights came off.  I will further inspect and take pictures tomorrow.  6 weeks old and 2700 miles so far.  Two weeks age we went to the Smokey Mountain National Park and came back to NJ with a couple of hunderd miles on the BRM Parkway.

This seems to be an ongoing issue with these new wheels, has anyone figured out if it is a glue issue or something to do with the powder coat finish and sticking the weights on prior to full cure?  I would think MOCO would be working hard to fix the issue with all the fenders they have had to replace due to a faulty wheel weight.

Going with Dyna beads when I get time. I didn't even to think about the weight coming off. Doubt it was a weight that caused a nick in the left slider tube and broke the reflector but something caused it. I heard the hitand thought it was something I hit on the road. Maybe the Misses can take a look and see if the tire weight is still on there.

I went with Centramatic's , but started with new tires.  Looks great with no weights
hanging on the rims.  I have almost 5k, and it's still real smooth, with even wear.

Departed 8 days ago on my 11.5 Big Blue for the Blackhills with 950 miles on the odometer of my new scoot. On day one threw a wheel weight and now have 5 in-lines dings on the front fender. On day two it threw the remaining two front wheel weights with no damage. Just got home and will be at the dealer's on Monday. Sure hope the info in this thread gets me a new fender. Thanks guys!!
