Anyone hearing any dates regarding the 2012 Ultras?

I was checking out my Facebook page to see that my local dealer sold a 2012 SEUC Red, and the gentleman was taking delivery of the bike in the pic.

So, what happened to the idea that four (or at least three) new models were picked for the CVOs?  So, there is one model from the Softail line and three from touring...  No Dynas?  What about a CVO Trike?  Or a CVO Softail Deluxe?  Or even a CVO Sportster?  I know H-D trades on tradition, but the same four models three years in a row?  No imagination.  Hard to get excited for a new model year when all they do is change the paint jobs and add a feature here and there.  ZZZzzzzzzz.......
A CVO Sportster?  Wonder if they could sell a few thousand of those?  Prolly not a hugh market of people willing to shell out the big bucks for a sporty with trick paint & skulls.  ??? jmho.  spyder

Saw the white and black RG at Brians today. Didn't care for the powder coated rocker and other covers. Looked kinda dull/hazy but it was after a few demo rides. I was supposed to take it out but didnt feel like hanging around for another hour and a half in 100 degrees. he had a black SESG outside that was already sold. Dont know the purpose of saddlebag lid speakers but I didnt care for them. Paint scheme was OK. Not real impressed with color options on any of the models. Think 09 Stardust silver and 10 Riptide Blue were best SEUC colors

I am just not getting the Willie G skulls on everything.  In fact, I wouldn't even buy a used scoot with skulls all over it . . . just not into them . . . I know some people like skulls . . . but on all the CVOs?

Definitely now gonna 2013 for me . . . with no skulls!

Does everybody like the skulls?

the lite color  gray xxxx they have in the paint looks like the same one's Susuki had on thier (Hyabusa?)

IT dose have Ipod hook up, I check with parts guys and they said i could put the interfaze on my bike for $800 so that may be way the 2012 bike is over $37k

Just not feeling the love for the 2012 Ultra Classic.  My blue 2011.5 makes 'em look like dookie.

Agreed. Could be cuz we're still infatuated with our new rides....and I'm so good with that.  ;D ;D

I don't understand the skulls either. As an add-on for an individual...they can put on whatever they want. For an entire product line??? Na

Hey maybe this is one way for our sleds to keep their value for just a bit longer. If they'd made something even cooler right after we spent big bucks on ours....ohhhhh we'd be pissed. Right now we feel vindicated that we made the right purchase. And I just keep blabbin'.

X2. I saw the new CVO Road Glide yesterday...my brother-in-law test rode it. Not a fan of the skulls either. The black/white color scheme just seemed a bit blah......

The Skull line was cool when it came out about five years ago and that pretty much sums it up - - - - five years ago.
Time waits for no man and Willie G needs to get off his ass, out from under whatever rock he's been living under and come up with some new ideas.
It's pretty sad that Paul Teutal Jr has fresher ideas than the namesake of Harley-Davidson Inc.

I still have not seen one in person yet, but as more and more pics and videos of the Slate/Black SG show up I am liking it more and more.  The pinstripping on the fairing and rear fender are a nice touch and look great, IMO.  I have never been a big fan of the lowers on the SESG, and plan on removing them on mine if the dealer can find me one.  So having the speakers in the saddlebags will work perfectly for me.  They will allow me to still have a great sounding stereo system even with the lowers, and their speakers, removed.
