Saw a Skunk today on the floor at Southern Thunder in Southaven MS. Phone is 662-349-1099. Doubt if they sell MSRP but you can call. They also had the Ruby Red CVOSG there. It was impressive. Just thought I'd let ya'll know.

I did call....they want $4k over MSRP for the SESG.  This kind of greed is really getting frustrating.  I'll never own another Harley if that's what it takes to buy one.

If they keep pricing bikes that way, they will fall victim to the same economy woes...unless enough of us "enthusiasts" continue to support them.  I don't plan to contribute to their greed.

Maybe they can start exporting 'em all now that they've beat our dollar down to nothing.  Should make 'em more affordable elsewhere.  spyder

The reason I said I doubt if it will be MSRP is #1, it's Bruce Rossmeyer's Southern Thunder and #2, there wasn't a price tag on the bike. I asked while up in Union City TN when are they going to get any CVO's this year and if they will be MSRP. They said they don't sell CVO's at MSRP because of the low productions and quanity they get in per year. I told them Bumpus in Memphis sells MSRP on CVO's and that's where I will buy from...(If I ever get another CVO)

The low production and added accessories is PRECISELY why they're already $10k more than a stock model!!!  Isn't that enough?

CVOfan, I'm just telling you what they said. I don't advocate their reasoning!!! Obviously they feel they can get away with it and someone will buy it. NOT ME! If I couldn't buy it MSRP...I wouldn't even think about it!

JR, my frustration is not directed at you.  Sorry if it came across that way.  I do appreciate the post with the siting of the bike.  It gave me the opportunity to call and check the price.  I was ready to buy as I'm only 75 miles from that dealer.  I believe Bumpus is a MSRP dealer and should have one available later this fall.  But, you're right...someone will buy that bike from Southern Thunder at that price.  That buyer either has more money or more credit than he has sense.  It won't be me...
