That doesn't sound accurate....I called Southern Thunder on Friday about the red SESG and was told it would be at least $3k over MSRP... :nixweiss:

I was simply visiting and ran into the new owners and said he paid retail thats all I know. The RG same way. Owners standing in the photo of the skunk picture I think.

These are the bikes I posted on last week! There was no sticker on the bikes and written in marker on mirror was 3580. Saw it on couple other bikes and figured it was for $35800.00 which places it $3,000 over. The new owners probably didn't know what "Retail" was or if they did they were too ashamed to admit they paid more! JMHO! If they were MSRP and got a call on last Thursday to purchase one...they would have let CVOfan know! :2vrolijk_21:

Stopped by Southern Thunder today and asked a friend that works there and he said they don't sell CVO's at MSRP. He said that guy that bought the skunk paid $5k over. The SG was 3K over! :o

There will always be dealers that do that because there are still plenty of buyers who have more money than sense.  It's a rude awakening for them when they get ready to sell and the bike has depreciated from the MSRP baseline and they started $3k over...they lost that $3k instantly when they rode the bike away from the dealer.  Not a wise investment, IMO.

I posted this picture last week on another topic but did not see it here.  I'm having fullSac and HID lights etc; put on at the dealer so have not picked it up yet........South Bend, IN

Those numbers over MSRP are consistent with anyone I've ever talked to getting a quote from Southern Thunder!
